Based at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery, Rhondda Heritage Park offers a fascinating insight into the rich culture and character of the Rhondda Valleys in an unique, entertaining and educational environment for all ages.
Underground experience, multi-media presentations, period village street, plus much more completes the heritage experience.
The Gallery holds a changing programme of exhibitions from artists of national and international acclaim and particularly welcomes welsh art and welsh artists with work connected with the South Wales Valleys. Alongside the gallery is a range of contemporary jewellery, ceramics and turned wood pieces making this an ideal venue to purchase unique gift ides.
Adjacent to the Gallery is the Valley View reataurant with breath-taking views of the lower Rondda Valleys, it is the place to relax over coffee, meet friends for lunch or take afternoon tea.
